A pressing and cable station for all angles. Arms independent, or together, barbell-style. Takes 220 kg. Removable close-grip attachment

  • Steel-pin safety - movable pin lets you decide how low the bar can drop
  • A great squat mechanism - comfortable padded bar; and stability assistance means you concentrate more on the squat itself
  • Excellent, multiple-grip deadlifts, bent-over rows as well
  • High and low cable facility - to 130 kg+ excellent mechanics and range of motion for cable rows, pull-downs, triceps press, single-handle delt exercises

The lat tower and pressing station component of Powertec's very successful Leverage Gym, developed over 15 years, is now offered independently - for you to put your existing bench with.

With your own bench in front of this, you'll get a pressing station that'll take every angle your bench will let it. Better still, you can use it isolaterally - each arm independent - or with the bars locked together barbell-style. And there's great grip variety - palms-facing, palms to the front, or in between. And there's steel-pin safety - set the pin at your choice of lowest point, and know that it'll stop the bar doing dropping on you. You get safety and the guidance of a machine, so you put less effort into stability, more into the main effort.

There's a removable, and moving, close-grip bar that fits between the bench handles for curls and close-grip pressing variety. Loads on the pressing handles? 225 kg. (Check this video...Man V Machine- it's 10 years old, and the machine's better now) .

It's tough - 4-sided 12-gauge steel, weighs more than many racks.

Here's another, more recent and comprehensive video: Leverage Gym, Lee Priest.

Remember you don't get the bench. But you can do everything you see, if your bench has the angles. (Note you get triceps short bar, wide lat bar, and a single-D handle, plus the narrow grip bar that joins the press handles, in the price)(There's a row handle in the movie you'd have to buy)  Squats isolate the quads superbly, and for variety you can do them facing the tower or facing away.  In fact, the guidance offered by the lever principle means you can concern yourself less with stability for one-legged squats and lunges, making them more enjoyable and permitting more direct effort. The high and low cable facility offers very even resistance delivery to a plate carrier which is good for 130 kg plus. The lat tower is extremely stable standing alone. You don't need to attach your bench. Later, you might replace your bench with a Powertec Utility Bench - which can attach to the tower - and add lots more options to the front of it, including Arm Curl, Leg Extension/Leg Curl, Dip, Pec Flye and other accessories.

We have been surprised by an effective 50% increase in warehouse costs, and a pile of freight and related increases. It’s the 50% that spoils things. It’s not worth continuing business on this basis. So we're going to close.  BEAR IN MIND, Powertec and Ironmaster hardly ever break. Customers have all been contacted, with a ton of goodwill.  As a matter of fact, the real $ buying since we told them, has been by them.

So, our current prices are now much reduced – much more than the value of any warranty, given the quality we believe (just about) any user will vouch for. We’ve had less than a dozen faults over a thousand items. And most of them have been outside the warranty period. Correspondence shows fewer. (Excludes freight damage occasionally, which we fixed fast)

It's almost as if...who needs a warranty?
